Detroit URC 30th Anniversary
Symposium and Celebration - FREE Event

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!
Join us on Friday, September 19th for our Symposium and Celebration in recognition of the Detroit URC’s 30th Anniversary. Our theme for this celebration is “Committed Partnerships, Collective Impact, Courageous Change.”
For the past three decades, the Detroit URC has carried out successful research, interventions, and policy change efforts aimed at promoting health equity in Detroit and beyond. Our work is carried out through partnerships with representatives from multiple Detroit organizations and academic researchers from the University of Michigan.
As we reflect on the past, and look ahead to what is to come, we recognize that our work is valuable at this critical time in the history of Detroit and our country, when working together with others for change is of supreme importance. We invite you to join us for a day of panels, dialogue, and elevation of community-based participatory research. Let’s reaffirm the importance of committed partnerships, working together for collective impact, and being bold in our pursuit of courageous change.
