Denim Day!
The Sexual Assault Prevention & Awareness Center (SAPAC) Graduate Research, Outreach, Workshops, and Evaluation (GROWE) program, with support from the School of Social Work FLOURISH Office, invite you to join us for a Denim Day awareness event!
Denim Day is an annual day of awareness in April where we wear denim to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence and to spread awareness. Join us on Wednesday, April 22, anytime between 12-4 pm in the School of Social Work Courtyard for an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and impact. This is a drop-in event, so feel free to come and go as you please!
This will be a relaxed event where you'll have the opportunity to:
- Decorate denim squares
- Engage in arts and crafts activities
- Help to create survivor self-care kits
We will be collecting donation items to support Safehouse, and you can access their wishlist as well as other ways to give here: https://tinyurl.com/Denim-Day-Wishlist-2026.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!
