Join fellow staff, students, and faculty for an energizing break which will introduce the positive effects of being in nature on our social and emotional well-being. With facilitator guidance, participants will:

-Practice mindful attention and appreciation for the natural environment.
-Learn how to refresh your energy and reduce stress by being outside.
-Cultivate a sense of awe, curiosity, connection, and wonder.
-Learn how to use the Nature Rx resources in the Michigan App.

Tuesday, September 29
12-12:45 pm
Location: Meet at the grassy area just in front of the Biological Sciences Building/Museum of Natural History, 1105 North University, Ann Arbor (near the Central Campus Transit Center and the Ruthven Building).

We will learn how to appreciate nature in all its forms, and this session will be held rain or shine. Please note that this session requires moving or walking outdoors over a distance of approximately a quarter-mile. Options will be provided for those who wish to sit or explore at their own pace and ability. Please wear comfortable attire and dress for the weather. This event may be canceled in the case of hazardous weather conditions--we will contact you if this is the case.
