The Chris Peterson Inaugural Memorial Lecture

"Chris Peterson's Unfinished Masterwork"

Dr. Martin Seligman, the Zellerback Family Professor of Psychology and Director of the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, will deliver the Chris Peterson Inaugural Memorial Lecture. Seligman was a friend and colleague of Peterson, who died last year. Peterson, a U-M professor of psychology and organizational studies, was internationally recognized for his research on happiness, achievement and physical well-being. A frequent blogger for Psychology Today, he also won the prestigious Golden Apple Award, given by students for outstanding teaching.
