The woodwind quintet is made up of principal wind players in the Campus Symphony Orchestra, a University of Michigan orchestra composed of non-music major students and musicians from the Ann Arbor community. The performers are Xiao Wang, flute; William Burnham, clarinet; Katherine Lobaza, oboe; Marc Gerstein, bassoon; and David Goldberg, horn. This concert will feature classic works for wind quintet by Beethoven, Cambini, Ibert and Reicha. The next concert of the full Campus Symphony Orchestra will be held in Hill Auditorium on Wednesday, November 13, at 8:00 pm.
