This Nov. 14 & 15 symposium brings together internationally acclaimed and award-winning journalists, writers, bloggers, activists, cinematographers, photographers, cartoonists, & scholars to explore the visual arts & expressive media of the recent uprisings in the Arab world. Nov. 14 features the keynote lecture by U-M alumna Jill Dougherty, CNN. Nov. 15 features a full day of presentations and discussion. Both events are free and open to the public.
