This discussion group is for people interested in health policy issues at the national, state and local levels and topics related to them. The subjects may include Medicare, Medicaid, The Affordable Care Act (ACA, a.k.a. Obamacare), private health insurance, health care costs and implications, regulation of prescription drugs and medical devices, public/community health, and many others. Current news articles will be read and discussed to focus the discussions. No special expertise or experience required. Participants simply need to have an interest in current health policy issues. All viewpoints are welcome.
