Michigan’s Matt Watroba has been building his repertoire of traditional and contemporary folk songs for over 25 years. He sings both original and traditional songs of compassion, inner strength, humor and everyday living, and his voice goes straight to the heart. His goal is to leave the audience feeling better than they did when they came in. Watroba was the radio host of "Folks Like Us" for over 20 years on WDET-FM. He has performed at the Ann Arbor Folk Festival, the Detroit 300 Celebration, the Ark, and the Spirit of the Woods Festival, and he has shared the stage with Pete Seeger, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Arlo Guthrie and Shawn Colvin, among others.
