University of Michigan students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a screening and discussion of the recent NOVA special "Vaccines--Calling the Shots."

Following the screening, Dr. Brian Zikmund-Fisher from Health Behavior and Health Education who featured in the documentary will speak on how the film came to be, the historical role of the University in the development and testing of vaccines, and join Dr. Sonya Dal Cin, Department of Communication Studies, and Dr. Andrew Maynard, Risk Science Center, in a critical discussion on the effectiveness of the film’s messaging from a public health communication perspective.
