Hands-On Demo: Cow's Eye Dissection

Have you ever wondered what makes our eyes work or how we see? We’ll dissect a cow’s eye to take a closer look at the organ that helps us see the world. How is it similar to and different from our eyes, and those of other animals? Learn the parts of the eye and how they work together to illuminate our sight. We’ll also talk about why some of us need glasses and how we can keep our eyes and our vision healthy. There is something for everyone during this interactive and fascinating demonstration!

Hands-on demonstrations are 20-30 minute interactive programs on the 2nd floor of the Museum. They include both brief presentations highlighting University research and engaging hands-on activities, and are suitable for adults and children ages 5 and up.
