This discussion group focuses on public issues of great importance. Participants volunteer to lead discussions. Resources are researched typically from the Internet. Topics will include debt - personal, city, state and nation; coping with the high cost of health care; water, energy and climate challenges; immigration policy reform; racial and ethnic tension - impact on policing; why we vote the way we do; and current trends in religion.

This study group for adults 50+ meets on the following Tuesdays: 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/03, 11/17, 12/01, 12/15, and 01/05/16.
