Abstract: The speaker will present an overview of IBM's business and research interests and accomplishments in healthcare. Emphasis will be placed on topics relating to health behavior.
Dr. Chen manages the computational health behavior and decision science group at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, NY. She has previously been a user experience researcher in the Watson Group, the director of IBM's "Smarter Cities" Research Collaboratory in Singapore, and a research scientist in the mathematical sciences group at the Watson Research Center. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Operations Research from Penn State University and a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
