For new College of Engineering faculty.

In this workshop, specific classroom strategies and teaching behaviors that support success of a diverse student body in engineering will be presented, as will practical advice for instructors seeking to implement these ideas. Participants will engage in a series of activities to apply these strategies to their own teaching. These strategies can improve success for all students, and research has shown they are especially beneficial for students underrepresented in engineering. Lunch will be provided.
