Nessa is a Celtic fusion band based in Ann Arbor, and led by flute virtuoso/vocalist Kelly McDermott. This is a release show for the new Nessa album, "Ancient Song Discovery Project Volume 1." This ambitious project features old ballads long forgotten, in fresh, original arrangements by Nessa. Nessa has appeared at Trinity House in Livonia, Plymouth Arts Council, the Webster Church in Dexter, the Rochester and Ann Arbor libraries, Performance Network in Ann Arbor, the Saline Celtic Festival, and the Motor City Irish Festival in Detroit.
