Comics, Graphic Medicine, and Creating Stigma Awareness
A panel will touch on and react to the portrayal of stigma, stereotypes, and bullying through the lens of Graphic Medicine (comics and graphic novels on health and healthcare topics), the classic comics (such as Marvel and DC Comics), as well as manga and independent comics. Panelists include:
