The Muslim Student Association and Students Allied for Freedom and Equality (SAFE) are joining to put on an event this Friday to focus on how minorities can navigate a post colonial world, how to combat islamophobia, and how larger discourses change the way in which issues concerning Palestine and Syria are viewed on a global scale. Dr. Hatem Bazian is a leading scholar on the topic, and it's an incredible opportunity for both students and the larger community.
