The U-M Percussion Ensemble returns to historic Hill Auditorium to present a diverse program including a collaboration with the Saxophone Ensemble (Timothy McAllister, director) combining forces to perform Louis Andriessen's epic Workers Union. Additional works include John Cage's In a Landscape, William Russell's Four Dance Movements as well as select movements from George Crumb's landmark work Music for a Summer's Evening (Makrokosmos III) for two pianists and two percussionists.
