A short presentation by U-M physics professor Tim Chupp and U-M art history professor Celeste Brusati will follow.

Magicians Penn and Teller turn their analytic gaze from the world of magic to the world of fine art in this documentary about inventor Tim Jenison, who conducts experiments to discover how 17th-century Dutch Master Johannes Vermeer achieved such photographic realism in his paintings.

Part of the Science on Screen Film Series, an initiative by Coolidge Corner Theatre with major support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Series sponsored by the Arbor Research Collaborative for Health.
