Fordies4Inclusion Community Conversation: Inclusion and Political Leanings
What: Come build community with your fellow Fordies through our series of student-led dialogues about inclusion. This time, we will recap our last dialogue about the need for empathy as a policy skill. We will also focus on political identities ('conservatives' and 'progressives' and everything in between) as one particular set of identities that students feel can be more equitably included at Ford. This perspective is one of several that we gleaned from the F4I Winter 2015 Climate Survey, which received 125 responses from undergraduate and graduate Fordies. We look forward to continuing our alternative brave space in this conversation, as well as visioning for the ongoing process and practice of inclusion. In this way, we connect inclusion at Ford to broader social issues, developingempathy across difference and considering ways to act on these reflections.
