Real Estate Excel Financial Modeling Training
The Michigan Real Estate Club is hosting a financial modeling training taught by Joshua Kahr who has taught at many schools and companies such as Blackstone, Wharton, Columbia and Credit Suisse.
The training will be two days from 9am to 5pm on Fri-Sat, Feb 12-13. While this course is gear towards real estate, the training will be beneficial for those interested in private equity, investment or commercial banking or investment management.
On day one, Kahr will cover the mechanics of financial modeling for real estate investments. The class will explore key concepts such as leverage and the impact of taxation.
On day two, Kahr will work with higher level concepts such as partnership modeling, waterfalls, and construction and development modeling.
Please note that this course assumes knowledge of basic finance. If you do not have this knowledge or do not think you will be able to pick it up quickly, then it is not recommended you take this course.
This training is being subsidized by the Michigan Real Estate Club, the UM/ULI Forum and the generous support of Welltower.
Deadline to register is February 5, 2016. Attendees will need to check in on the first day of the training. Registration can be completed on the link shown.
Please note that this training is subject to cancellation in the event of low attendance.
In addition, Mac users will be able to use Mac excel for the training, however, the instructor will not be able to give any support for Mac Excel should something not work.
