This faculty panel, featuring University of Michigan professors who are experts on different regional movements of the historic avant-garde, aims to explore the avant-garde as an international, cosmopolitan phenomenon. The panel will highlight the mutual influence and overlap of various regional avant-gardes, as well as their differences.
Short lectures from panelists will be followed by a Q&A session facilitated by the Avant-Garde Interest Group.

Dinner from Jerusalem Garden will be provided.
