Shozo Ota, Professor, Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, The University of Tokyo
Shozo Ota is currently a Professor in the Graduate Schools for Law and Politics at The University of Tokyo. He received his B.A. (1980) and M.A. (1982) in Law at The University of Tokyo and was employed there as a Research Associate from 1982-1984. Between 1984 and 1991, he served as an Associate Professor on the Faculty of Law at Nagoya University and returned to The University of Tokyo in 1991 as an Associate Professor. He became a full professor in 1997. His fields of interest include Law & Society, Law & Economics, Law & Negotiation, Dispute Resolution, Civil Procedure, AI & Law.
