Versatile PhD founder, Dr. Paula Chambers – Interactive Workshop

Dr. Paula Chambers, founder of the Versatile PhD, will be coming to Wayne State University on Thursday, March 3, to conduct an interactive workshop on nonacademic careers for graduate students and postdoctoral scientists. She will be the keynote speaker at the National Postdoctoral Association meeting in Grand Rapids from March 4-6. For more information on Dr. Chambers, see https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulachambers

Dr. Chambers will be offering a two-hour, hands-on workshop on transferrable skills, leading attendees through exercises that will help them identify those skills used in a specific project, describe what they did with those skills, and articulate the practical impacts of what they achieved.

This workshop will be held in Bernath Auditorium (located inside the Adamany Undergraduate Library on the main campus) from 4-6 pm on March 3.
