The YKB Spring Monologue Show
Think you've heard it all? You haven't. Come out and hear women on this campus tell their stories, no topic too scandalous or taboo.
Guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and think, you won't want to miss Yoni Ki Baat's spring monologue show. The show will challenge stereotypes as well as address cultural taboos faced by South Asian women and Women of Color. All proceeds are donated to help survivors of domestic violence at Mai Family Services.
"I'm sorry I'm not black enough."
"I don't expect to ever mesh perfectly."
"Why do I need his permission to get comfy with my body?"
These are just a few examples of the complex stories of Women of Color on campus. Want to hear more? Come to "Unresolved" on April 1st at 7 p.m. in Angell Auditorium A! Check out our Facebook event for more info, and email yonikibaatcore@umich.edu with any questions.
$5 Tickets will be sold Monday, March 28th through Friday, April 1st at the Mason Posting Wall!
