Join the Bentley Historical Library, UM Museum of Natural History, and Department of Astronomy for Statewide Astronomy Night.
From 8 - 10 you can take a self guided tour of this 19th century building, and learn about the instruments and what it was like to be a part of this University during it's earliest days. If you're looking for something more modern, visit the UMMNH walk up planetarium and finds out what's up!
Weather permitting, we'll open the dome from 9 - 10:30 PM for viewing through the 1857 Fitz refractor.
Please be aware this is a 19th century building. You must be able to climb a flight of stairs to reach the dome with the Fitz telescope.
