Indian history and mythology from the very ancient days until the arrival of the British is replete with stories and instances of sexual minorities and their ready acceptance into the society. It was only after mid-nineteenth century that India has become intolerant towards sexual minorties. We aim to showcase the past, present and future of sexual minorites in India.
