The University of Michigan Chapter of Student Veterans of America (SVAUM) is teaming up with Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) and Team Read, White, and Blue (Team RWB) to raise awareness about veteran suicide. On average, 22 veterans commit suicide every day. On May 22, these organizations will be hosting a ruck march of 22 km carrying a 22 lb ruck sack. The event begins in Veterans Park in Plymouth and ends in Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor. If you would like to participate, register via the link below.
