Tour guide and quilter Mary Davis will provide an overview of the dazzling quilt gardens of Northern Indiana’s Amish Country. 19 giant gardens feature 150,000 individual plants and celebrate the Heritage Trail in northern Indiana. In 2016, the Gardens will participate in the celebration of Indiana’s bicentennial. Learn the gardens’ history and the stories behind the quilt patterns reproduced, along with the influence of the Amish people who live in the area. This event is for adults 50+.
