In this talk Bill Birdsall will cover the following topics: the geology and biology affecting the origin and demise of these volcanic islands, a brief history of the colonization of them, the consequences of colonization. He will also provide a virtual tour of the islands including maps, pictures and materials from his Pacific travel. This event is for adults over 50.
