This class will provide a general survey of Chinese history, geography, philosophy and culture. It will cover education, government, communication, health beliefs, sports, migration, wars and their impacts, American influence, and the Taiwan issue.

This study group for those 50 and over will meet for two hours on Mondays from October 10 through November 14.

Instructor Amy Seetoo was a co-founder of the Chinese American Society of Ann Arbor and the Healthy Asian Americans Project at U of M. She is dedicated to promoting cultural exchange in Michigan.
