They're Taking the Pizza to Isengard!
The following conversation was overheard outside of an organic chemistry classroom just after the graded midterms had been returned:“I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. And I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turnin' back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holdin' on to something.”“What are we holdin' onto, Sam?”“That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fightingfor.”The individuals involved were later seen journeying towards Angell Hall, eagerly recounting some rumor of free pizza… Come gather in one of the Angel Hall auditoriums this Tuesday at 6pm and partake in pizza without price as we discuss the things onto which we hold, and even the very nature of hope itself! To the end that accommodations for your company may be sufficiently arranged, please RSVP with a meme involving the Lord of the Rings to confirm your attendance. The day may come when the appetite of men fails, but it is not this day! This day, we eat! Unabashedly yours, Rob KoehnTreasurer of the Dead Pizza Societyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6C8SX0mWP0
