A specific amount of time will be open to the audience for questions.
Exhibiting the highest standards in business ethics is critical to establishing and maintaining a company's brand and reputation, but sometimes does not receive the same focus and attention as more conventional business metrics. However, lack of business ethics can also seriously damage a company's reputation and its business performance and, as evidenced in some high-profile examples, has the potential to lead to its demise.
George Halow, Technology Strategy & Planning Manager, Ford Motor Company, will lead a highly interactive discussion on Ethics and Integrity in Business, drawing on real-world experiences and prevailing issues presented daily in the media. He will also help guide students and provide a toolkit for how to deal with potential ethical dilemmas they may face in their careers.
George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
REGISTRATION: Session is open to the U-M Community, but please let us know you are coming so that we can ensure we have food for you. http://bit.ly/2dtXB0e.
CAN'T ATTEND? Most Tauber Leadership Speaker Series are live-streamed via a link from the Ross media website and then a listing is added to the Leadership Speaker Series post-session.
