Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a poster reception on Monday, November 21 to better understand how the work of information technology staff is enriching the U-M experience and advancing the goals within U-M’s IT Strategic Plan.

More than 60 IT staff from U-M schools and colleges, the health system, and administrative and central IT units will present posters on topics ranging from data-driven medicine and research, reporting and data analytics, IT security, streamlining administrative functions and more.
Refreshments will be served and attendees will get the opportunity to ask questions and engage in deeper conversations with poster creators.

The event is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer and hosted by the Michigan IT Steering Committee.

The poster reception officially kicks off the third annual Michigan IT Symposium, an event that creates connections between IT professionals, while showcasing the innovation occurring across all of the university’s campuses. It is open to all of Michigan's IT community and includes multiple types of interactions, including plenary and breakout events and hands-on training.
