John Pasquale and Courtney Snyder, guest conductors. Thomas Gamboa, Stephen Meyer, and Elliot Tackitt, graduate student conductors.
Repertoire from 1597 to 1936, and many points in between, provide perspective on U-M’s 200th anniversary celebration. From Venice to Vienna, Copenhagen to Paris and to Mexico City, the world before the founding of our great University is explored along with musical trends during our first century. Enjoy the virtuosity of the Symphony Band musicians in this variety filled evening.
