On December 27, 2016 the New York Islanders and Brooklyn Netswill be hosting their first annual B1G Sales Academy at Barclays Center. The day will start with learning about the most common starting job for college graduates in the professional sports field, the Inside Sales program. Students will then learn about the sales process. In the afternoon, students will be able to apply their knowledge in a role play challenge judgedby upper management from Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. The day will conclude with the students attending the Islanders vs Capitals game that evening. During the game, managers of Inside Sales for the Nets and Islanders, Stu Cohen and Adam Metzendorf, will be conducting interviews for both immediate hire as well as for June hires.
