Wednesday, August 2nd: UM NY alumni club gathering (Barley Corn Craft Bar & Grill 23 Park Pl, New York, NY 10007) 6:00pm-8:00pm EST
- Meet members of the U of M alumni club of New York and learn what it's like to work/live in the big apple!

Thursday, August 3rd: Meet at Ebay (625 6th Ave, New York, NY 10011) 10:00am-11:30am EST
- Check out the Ebay office that featuresthe home base team (the face of the company) and the second largest tech team within the company
- Learn about various roles, including software engineering, research engineering, machine learning, natural language processing, and product managers
- Get the inside look into what a summerinternship at Ebay looks like and how to stand out in the application process (apps open in Oct/Nov!)

HOW TO APPLY-
Please click 'join event' to fill out your application. However, apply early! This application will be closing on Friday, July 21st. We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis and if there is a large interest in the event and we receive a large number of applications early on, the application may close early.

By applying for this Immersion, you are confirming your ability to attend this event should you be selected. Students will be notified if theyhave been selected or have been placed on the waitlist at least one week before the event.

Students must be able to attend the full day programin New York to participate. University Career Center staff will be along with you on the Immersion to guide you through the day, and more details will be provided to the selected participants. This event is free for students to attend, however, transportation and lodging are not provided. Ifthis is a concern, please contact Kathleen at kathlmcd@umich.edu. Students are advised to bring a copy of their updated resume for each employer and the attire for the visits is business casual.

If you are no longer able to attend this Immersion, one must contact Kathleen at kathlmcd@umich.edu as soon as possible. If you do not formally cancel within one week of the event, you will receive a late cancellation penalty.
