Tiffany Ng gives the world premieres of Southern vs. Northern Lion by visiting composer Carolyn Chen and Sunset Flute Drum by Lu Pei, professor of music composition at the Shanghai Conservatory. Chinese, Korean, and Tibetan pieces will complete the festive program. The audience is encouraged to visit the 53-bell Charles Baird Carillon as it is being played.
