Michael Ha ithcock, conductor Patricia Cornett, graduate conductor Jonathan Ovalle, percussion Chorale and Counterpoint are two primary compositional techniques. Both are explored in traditional and unique ways through this wide-ranging repertoire. Percussionist Jonathan Ovalle, a new faculty artist, appears as soloist in Joseph Schwantner’s massive Percussion Concerto.
