The Reformation of Material: Working with Wood and Metal
Explore UMMA's Mark di Suvero: Tabletops exhibition and gain an appreciation for the abstract sculptor whose distinctive, bold pieces can be found all over the world. Contemplate the purpose of public art in the world and in our city. Students will create a small-scale wood and metal sculpture, which incorporates motion or moving parts. No experience necessary.
Mark di Suvero: Tabletops is made possible in part by the Office of the President of the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Health System.
