Marie Lynn Miranda, dean of SNRE
Marie Lynn Miranda, a Detroit native, delivers the 11th Annual Peter M. Wege Lecture on Sustainability. The lecture address is titled "Fostering Environments to Sustain our Children's Health." Miranda is dean and professor at the U-M School of Natural Resources and Environment. The Wege Lecture is traditionally the kick-off event to Earth Day month celebrations across campus. Past speakers have included William Clay Ford, Jr., Al Gore, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and John Holdren, President Obama's chief science adviser.
