It's time for our annual Spring Pride Week rally!!! Come over and enjoy music, speakers, giveaways, food, and FUN! Learn more about how you can empower yourself and empower others, and also find out what other fun events the LGBT Issues Commission of CSG will be hosting throughout the week!

Charles Pugh, President of the Detroit City Council, will be speaking, as well as Jim Toy, the founder of the Spectrum Center. As the council's first openly gay president, Pugh is a pioneer in the gay rights community and it is a fantastic opportunity to come see him speak. Additionally, Jim Toy was the first openly gay man in Michigan, and became a revolutionary both in the state of Michigan and on a national level. He achieved many milestones at the University of Michigan, including establishing the first office for LGBT student affairs in the United States, and improving the lives of countless University students.
