Fauri Memorial Lecture: U.S. Immigration Policy and Child Welfare - A Clash of Agendas?
The 2012 Fauri Memorial Lecture addresses the timely and contested topic of U.S. immigration policy which includes in its mission to identify, arrest, and remove illegal aliens, and the goals of the child welfare system, which are to ensure child safety, permanency, and well-being.
The Fauri Memorial Lecture will inform participants about dilemmas experienced by families and children when immigration policy is enforced but also to generate feasible solutions.
