Only for the curious! Visit with University of Michigan scientists and participate in engaging, hands-on activities to learn about their cutting-edge research. These researchers are part of the U-M Museum of Natural History’s Science Communication Fellows program, bringing scientists and the public face-to-face.

At 1:15 p.m., take a trip inside the mesmerizing movement of cells with the Movement Under the Microscope science theater production. This performance brings together students from the U-M Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology with students from the U-M School of Music, Theater & Dance to celebrate the “building blocks of life” through performance art. Choreographed and performed by U-M undergraduates, Movement Under the Microscope makes microscopic movements like cell division and nutrient transport life-sized!

Suitable for upper elementary through adult visitors.
