Set in the 1960s on the neglected and run-down Skid Row, this musical tells the cautionary tale of Seymour Krelborn, a nerdy societal reject who spends his days working at a failing flower shop as he pines after his work crush, Audrey, and attempts to please his resentful boss, Mr. Mushnik. When Seymour discovers a unique plant that promises to bring him and the shop newfound success, he must grapple with the consequences of nourishing this mysterious creature with its nutrient of choice – human blood.
