The Pro Football Hall of Fame is proud to offer a series for learners in high school, college and beyond! “Before the Snap” gives an insight to professional careers in and around the NFL, while giving thelive viewing audience the opportunity to interact with an industry expert. On Friday, October 28th, 2022 at 12:00pm ET special guest Karlie Smithwill be on hand to speak on her career, what she does in her current position and much more!!

Communicator, utility player, laid-down lover. My entire life the Lord has used the sports realm as an avenue for communication. Karlie communicates as an analyst, commentator, reporter, writer, and professional emailer. Throughout her career, she has played many roles. As a student-athlete (softball player) at East Carolina University, my primary position was third base. However, moving 1-9 in the batting lineup and training all around the field was the norm. This utility aspectcarried over into her professional life. Network TV runner, operations manager, production assistant, content creator, broadcaster, coffee picker-upper, associate director, editor, nanny, communications director...the list goes on. God doesn't play boring. My passion in life is Jesus Christ. My ultimate purpose is to love my Maker and to love His people. I fail a lot, learn a lot and give thanks, a lot.
