Prof. Emeritus Pat Seitzer will share with the DO and visitors his research and observations on orbital debris in space. His research utilizes U-M's 0.6-meter Curtis-Schmidt telescope and the 6.5-meter Magellan telescopes to survey, image, and characterize debris at geosynchronous orbit.

The talk will be followed by tours of the observatory and observing with the historic Fitz telescope, weather permitting.
