SOLD OUT! Baseball on the professional, amateur, and youth levels is now popular in North America, parts of Central and South America and the Caribbean, and parts of East Asia. Come enjoy an evening at the ball park with special event of “Wolverines in the D” night, and watch the Detroit Tigers defend their home turf against the Minnesota Twins! Wolverines in the D night supports the Pat Maloy Scholarship Fund, which was created by former students of the University professor Bernard “Pat” Maloy who passed away in 2001 after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Come show your UM pride and support!
Cost: Non-refundable $40 per person for transportation, admission to game, and a “Wolverines in the D” shirt (to be picked up in Comerica Park). Students, scholars, friends, and families are welcome. Same price for all, regardless of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Register: In order to reserve your spot for this trip, you must sign up and pay at the front desk of the International Center on Central Campus. Cash only and exact change is appreciated. A UMID must be presented by the person purchasing the tickets. Limited space is available.
Meeting location and time: please be on time! Participants may choose to board the bus from either Central Campus or North Campus at one of the locations designated below. Upon our return, participants may choose to be dropped off at Central or North Campus locations.
