Navigating the Objective and Subjective at the Adler Planetarium
Museums are increasingly becoming important institutions for science learning. People learn subjectively by processing new information through prior knowledge and experiences. This means museum staff needs to create exhibits and experiences that can attract and support a variety of different learners. The speaker will explore the various projects she worked on during her practicum at the Adler Planetarium and her experiences with objective and subjective presentations of science information.
