The Boren Awards provide up to $20,000 for scholars (undergraduate students) and $30,000 for fellows (graduate students) of all specializations to conduct critical language study overseas for the purpose of U.S. national security research with an intent to work for the federal government following graduation. This language-learning opportunity accommodates research and internships, and will launch your career in the federal government. If you want to work for the Department of State, Department of Defense, or other areas of the federal government, this is the fellowship for you!
