Intro to the Hub: A Transfer Student Social Luncheon
Calling all LSA Transfer students: Have you heard of the LSA Opportunity Hub? Do you have questions about how to connect your studies to your career options? Or, perhaps you’re in search of resources to help reach your professional goals? The Opportunity Hub is here to support you with your career exploration and professional development.
Please join us for an hour of fun, food, and info at the Transfer Student Social Luncheon where you’ll discover your potential as a liberal arts and sciences student at the University of Michigan. Attend this event to make connections with other transfer students, Hub staff, and other partnering units; learn about the Hub’s free career exploration tools and resources; get the answers to your most pressing questions — and enjoy a hot meal!
This event is free and open to all LSA transfer students.
An RSVP is required so we can plan for catering. We have three (3) available time slots for you to choose from to accommodate your schedule.
About the Hub:
The LSA Opportunity Hub is a career exploration center for liberal arts and sciences students attending the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan. At the Hub, we partner with students on one of the most important projects of their lives: forming a professional identity and discovering their career interests. We do this by providing student coaching, career reflective classes, alum-hosted internships, internship scholarships, job opportunities, and much more that are created through the important relationships we’ve developed with alums, employers, and graduate programs.
The LSA Opportunity Hub aims to deliver inclusive and accessible experiences and welcomes all LSA students to participate. This event is on the first floor of a wheelchair accessible building which includes wheelchair-accessible restrooms on the first floor, a gender-inclusive and accessible restroom on the first floor, places to sit or stand during the event, and accessible parking options nearby on Maynard Street. Ramps are located at the East entrance (from State St.) and the Northwest entrance (from Maynard). Power doors are located at the Northwest entrance.
